German mathematician Joachim Klement, who correctly predicted last three FIFA World Cup winners, got his 2026 pick wrong after tipping Netherlands to win. He correctly named Germany in 2014, France in 2018 and Argentina in 2022. Netherlands were knocked out by Morocco on penalties in Round of 32. He also wrongly predicted that Brazil would be knocked out by Japan.
