India has 8.4% share despite 1,782 BRICS export opps: Report

A joint India Exim Bank-FICCI study found India has 1,782 identified export opportunity products in BRICS markets but holds only 8.4% export share — the lowest among members. Despite ranking second after China in product count, India's market presence remains limited. Pharmaceuticals, petroleum, automobiles, and engineering goods were flagged as key high-potential sectors.
