Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan's philanthropic venture Biohub unveiled an AI "world model" of protein biology to boost drug discovery. The AI system is based on the fourth generation of Evolutionary Scale Modelling, which learns from ​protein sequences produced by evolution. Researchers said the model can help scientists design new proteins to cure diseases like cancer and immune disorders.
