Kuki-Zo MLAs attend Manipur Assembly 1st time since 2023 violence

Two Kuki-Zon MLAs on Wednesday attended the Manipur Assembly in person for the first time since the ethnic violence broke out in the state in 2023. CM Yumnam Khemchand Singh welcomed the two and said that their presence was a positive step towards peace in the state. Over 250 people were killed while 60,000 were displaced due to the violence.
