Biometric Aadhaar authentication mandatory for subsidised LPG refills from Oct 1

The Central government announced that biometric Aadhaar authentication will be mandatory for domestic LPG consumers from October 1 to book refills at regulated Retail Selling Price with applicable subsidy. It said 27.43 crore consumers, or 89.9%, have already completed authentication. Others can complete it during delivery, at distributor showrooms or through oil marketing companies' mobile apps.
