The Indian Navy has commissioned INS Anjadip, dubbed a 'Dolphin Hunter' for its anti-submarine role. The vessel, which is 77-metre-long, is equipped with indigenous anti-submarine warfare weapons and sensors, including hull-mounted sonar ‘Abhay’, lightweight torpedoes and rockets. It is equipped with a high-speed water-jet propulsion system, allowing speeds of up to 25 knots.
