Netanyahu suggests crypto to shield Israel’s economy from sanctions, faces backlash

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu recently suggested that cryptocurrency could help shield Israel’s economy from international sanctions, adding that blockchain technology was another possibility. His comments drew criticism from Bank of Israel and over 100 economists, including Nobel laureates.
