IIT Bombay agrees to 18-point charter after 3-day student protest over Sahil Wakode’s suicide

IIT Bombay Director Shireesh Kedare signed an 18-point charter submitted by students after three days of protests over Sahil Wakode's death. The demands include an independent probe, changes to disciplinary processes, better mental-health support and greater student representation. Students also sought the suspension of Professor Suryanarayana Doolla, who has been booked in the suicide case.
