Seven families of victims killed in a mass shooting in Canada's Tumbler Ridge sued OpenAI, and its CEO Sam Altman, in a US court. The lawsuit alleges the firm knew about the shooter's plans eight months before the attack, but did not alert the police. Eight people were killed in the mass shooting at a secondary school in February.
