Air India plane, flown by pilot high on weed, rose 372 ft & fell 292 ft in 9 seconds
The Phuket-Delhi Air India plane, which was being flown by the pilot who tested positive for marijuana use, encountered "altitude upset", AAIB's preliminary report has found. It said the plane gained 372 feet and fell by 292 feet from its assigned altitude of 36,000 feet within nine seconds. Passengers and crew were injured, and the plane also suffered damage.
