A group of World Trade Organization members has agreed on a pathway to implement the world's first baseline set of global digital trade rules. The interim arrangements, backed by 66 members including Japan and China, would bring the E-Commerce Agreement into force for those that have accepted it. India is among the countries opposing its inclusion in the WTO framework.
