Delhi to get 1,000 metric tonnes of onions from Centre, to be sold at ₹35/kg

Amid concerns over rising onion prices and availability in Delhi, the Central government will supply 1,000 metric tonnes of onions to the national capital. The onions will be sold through fair-price shops at ₹35 per kg. CM Rekha Gupta said the state government is closely monitoring onion prices and availability and won't allow any shortage to develop in the capital.
