The state-owned LIC paid a massive final dividend of ₹12,207.25 crore to the Government of India for FY 2025-26. CEO and MD R Doraiswamy presented the cheque to Union Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday. Additionally, Union Bank of India paid a dividend of ₹2,853 crore and New India Assurance Co Ltd paid ₹211 crore.
