Hours after Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai quit the party, BJP State Vice President Karu Nagarajan and State Secretary Sumathi Venkatesh also tendered their resignations. Nagarajan said he quit the party in support of Annamalai. "I don’t wish to fault any leader… we have decided to support Annamalai, who is an energetic and bold leader," he added.
