B'luru startup tries using dogs to smell humans & detect cancer
Bengaluru-based startup Dognosis is testing dogs to detect early signs of cancer from human breath. Patients breathe into masks sent to the firm's facility, where dogs examine the sample, while sensors and AI analyse their movements, breathing, brain activity and body language for detection. The firm reportedly detected over 20 cancer types with around 90% accuracy in Phase 2 trials.
