The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has opened the early redemption window for the April 2020 Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) 2020-21 Series I, fixing the payout at ₹15,124 per unit. Investors can exit from April 28. At this price, returns would be around 230%, which means an investment of ₹1 lakh in 2020 would fetch nearly ₹3.3 lakh on redemption.
