Once world's biggest LNG exporter, Qatar now planning to buy from US: Report

Qatar is in discussions to buy LNG from the US under long-term agreements as the West Asia war has disrupted trade routes, Bloomberg reported. This marks a major reversal, as Qatar, once the world's largest LNG exporter, has seen its exports plunge by 96%. Qatar was earlier planning to double production at the world's largest LNG plant in Ras Laffan.
