Italy's highest court has ruled that hotels can refuse to serve guests tap water. The ruling came in a case filed by a tourist against a five-star hotel after it allegedly refused to provide tap water and instead offered mineral water priced at €7 (over ₹700) per bottle. The tourist had argued that water is a universal human right.
