Who is Swami Sarvapriyananda, the Hindu monk Anthropic consulted on Claude’s ethics?

Hindu monk Swami Sarvapriyananda said Anthropic flew him to its San Francisco headquarters to discuss how Claude models should approach right and wrong. Sarvapriyananda has led the Vedanta Society of New York as its minister and spiritual leader since 2017. Anthropic also held private discussions with religious thinkers from Catholic, Jewish, Sikh and evangelical Christian traditions.
