US to now launch drones that can remove clouds

US-based Y Combinator-backed startup Meteoric has been launched by two Gen Z engineers to use specialised drones to clear clouds and increase the sunlight that solar farms receive, thereby increasing their output. The drones will fly into low- and mid-altitude clouds, alter cloud droplets and reduce cloud reflectivity. The drones may eventually be used to weaken severe storms and hurricanes.
