A row has erupted after Gujarat BJP Chief Jagdish Vishwakarma made an indecent remark against Congress MP Geniben Thakor, allegedly stating that people will "snatch your seats from...the pallu of your sari". Congress MP Rahul Gandhi termed Vishwakarma's remarks "shameful", calling it "the true face of BJP's Manuvadi, anti-woman ideology." Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi also slammed his remarks.
