Girls should wear 'salwar kameez', boys full-length trousers to evade mosquitoes: WB Minister

West Bengal Health Minister Sharadwat Mukherjee has sparked a row after he reportedly urged girls to wear 'salwar-kameez' instead of skirts and boys should wear full-length trousers to evade mosquitoes. He stated that skirts and even knee-length socks leave students exposed to mosquito bites and wants a three-month trial for the new dress code. Opposition leaders criticised his remarks.
