Rajasthan BJP MLA Gopal Sharma called for curbs on use of loudspeakers during Ramadan, saying no religion mandates creating noise and it causes inconvenience. He said loudspeakers disturb students preparing for exams, as well as elderly residents. Responding, Congress leader Rafiq Khan said the practice is constitutional and every citizen has the right to follow their mode of worship.
