Budget may raise EPF wage limit to ₹25,000 after 10 years: Report

The upcoming Union Budget may see an increase in the salary ceiling for Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), according to a report by CNBC Awaaz. Currently, employers compulsorily have to make contributions to EPF for those who earn up to ₹15,000 salary per month. The wage ceiling was last increased from ₹6,500 salary in 2014.
