Eggs and tomatoes were thrown and slogans were raised against ex-TMC minister Udayan Guha as he was being produced in the Dinhata Sub-Divisional Court. He has been arrested in connection with an extortion case. Notably, Guha, in 2024, said fingers of those criticising then West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee over RG Kar rape-murder case will be broken.
