Narwekar appointed India's rep on CPA Executive Committee

Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar has been appointed as India's regional representative on the International Executive Committee of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA). Confirmed via a letter dated October 20, 2026, from CPA's Deputy Secretary-General, the role is expected to boost Maharashtra Legislature's engagement with Commonwealth parliaments. An introductory meeting is scheduled for November 5, 2026.
