North Korea launches ballistic missile

Ahead of major joint military exercises by South Korea and US, North Korea on Wednesday launched a ballistic missile from the Wonsan area. The launch comes just six days after North Korea fired another ballistic missile from the same area. South Korean and Japanese defence authorities said the missile flew about 700 km.
