Gujarati businessman shot dead in US, 19-yr-old daughter witnesses incident

Suresh Patel, a 56-year-old man from Gujarat's Mehsana district, was shot dead on Thursday (August 20) during an armed robbery at his store, Ridgecrest Cellars Wine and Spirits, in Tennessee, US. The suspect, a black male, opened fire after taking money from the store employee, police said. Patel's 19-year-old daughter was also present at the store. She escaped unhurt.
