The UP government has introduced a 20% tariff rebate on public electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure during solar hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, an official statement read. UP Energy Minister Arvind Sharma said the initiative will not only promote EV adoption but also encourage use of clean energy. He earlier said electricity tariffs have not been increased.
