Assam CM vows to reclaim 'every inch' of land in eviction drive

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said the government will not stop its eviction drive until 'every inch' of land is reclaimed. Responding to a foreign media report on demolition of hundreds of homes in Dhubri district and displacement of around 4,000 people, mostly Bengali-speaking Muslims, Sarma posted on X, "More to come."
