The first of six indigenous Air Cushion Vehicles (ACVs) was inducted into the Indian Coast Guard in Goa on Thursday. The hovercraft aims to enhance the Coast Guard's operational effectiveness across maritime duties and reinforce its ability to respond to modern challenges, the Defence Ministry said. The induction ceremony was held in the presence of senior Coast Guard officials.
