Linguistic study finds continuity in Taylor Swift's lyrics

A University of Liverpool researcher analysed 123,553 words from 247 Taylor Swift songs and found recurring themes of colour, body parts, clothing, counterfactuality and perception across her 20-year career. Despite her changing musical 'eras,' Dr Naomi Adam concluded Swift's core songwriting patterns have remained consistent, findings she will detail in an upcoming book.
