Cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra said it'd be “preposterous” not to select pacer Mohammad Shami for Team India because of his age. "It makes no sense whatsoever to drop someone because of his age...because you're still selecting veterans like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma," Chopra added. “At some point, selectors will spell out the reason...but I don’t think it’s age,” he stated.
