The Supreme Court has asked the Bihar government to remove all illegal encroachments between the Nauzar Ghat and Nurpur Ghat along the Ganga River in Patna. The court has given the state government six weeks to do so, while noting that no action has been taken despite the court's directions. The court also sought a report by a competent authority.
