New POCSO case filed against industrialist R Veeramani

Tamil Nadu police registered a fresh POCSO case against Gem Group's 84-year-old chairman R Veeramani, after a mother alleged her minor daughter was sexually abused by him. The case was filed with the all-women SIT in Chennai. Veeramani, arrested in August, remains in custody along with three associates until October 8.
