MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal has said that India "unequivocally" condemns any attack on innocent civilians after Pakistan launched airstrikes on Afghanistan in December 2024, which claimed the lives of at least 46 people. "It's an old practice of Pakistan to blame its neighbours for its own internal failures," he added. The attack was reportedly aimed at Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan hideouts.
