Vodafone Idea CEO Akshaya Moondra said the telecom operator may need further support from the government. "Initially, we may need some support and it is the government which will have the right to choose either to convert or defer the dues. That is their choice every time," he said. Currently, Vodafone Idea owes around ₹1.96 lakh crore to the government.
