Hrithik Roshan praised Aditya Dhar's directorial 'Dhurandhar' for its storytelling but noted that he “may disagree with the politics of it”. "[I may also] argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world," he added. “Nevertheless, I can’t ignore how much I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema,” Hrithik further said.
