India's domestic air passenger traffic fell 4.2% in April to over 1.38 crore flyers compared to March, as travel demand softened and airlines faced rising fuel costs, Moneycontrol reported, citing data from DGCA. IndiGo increased its market share to around 65%, despite industry slowdown. Major carriers also reported lower passenger load factors amid weaker demand and operational cost pressures.
