A 50-year-old porter worker died after allegedly consuming poison mixed with alcohol near the meeting venue of actor-turned-politician Vijay-led TVK in Tamil Nadu's Salem on Friday, ANI reported. A case has been registered in the matter. Earlier in the day, a 37-year-old man died after reportedly suffering a heart attack during Vijay's rally in Salem.
