NASA's Curiosity rover completes 5,000 Martian days on Mars

NASA's Curiosity rover has completed 5,000 Martian days exploring the surface of Mars, the space agency announced on Wednesday. Notably, a day on Mars is about 24.6 hours long. "Curiosity is currently examining a wind-formed ripple by scuffing it with a wheel, then using its cameras and other instruments to take a close look at the trench," NASA added.
