Michael Atherton lists reasons why Test matches are ending quicker

Former England captain Michael Atherton said that around 20% of Tests now finish within three days, compared with about 7% in 1990s. Explaining the trend, Atherton cited T20-influenced high-risk batting, a strong crop of fast bowlers and DRS increasing LBW dismissals. He also said that pitches have become more bowling-friendly since the advent of World Test Championship (WTC).
