Adani Green Energy said it has decided to "respectfully withdraw" from two proposed wind power projects in Sri Lanka, estimated to cost around $1 billion. This comes after the Sri Lankan government sought lower power prices from the Adani Group firm. Adani Green was going to build 484 MW of wind power stations in Mannar and Pooneryn under the project.
