Taliban warned Bin Laden to boost security after Kandahar hijack: CIA files

The Taliban regime in Afghanistan warned Al Qaeda terrorist Osama bin Laden to boost his security after the 1999 Kandahar hijacking of an Indian Airlines flight, CIA documents have revealed. The document is among 71 released on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The hijacking ended after India released three terrorists and handed them over to the Taliban.
