NCLT has ordered insolvency proceedings against ex-Videocon Chairman Venugopal Dhoot after he failed to repay ₹6,157.57-crore loans, as a personal guarantor of two group companies. The tribunal directed the resolution professional to draft a repayment plan within 21 days. Dhoot's two brothers, Rajkumar and Pradeep, are also facing insolvency proceedings for defaulting on ₹5,353.78-crore loans.
