Himachal Pradesh recently unveiled the 'She Travel Policy 2026' to attract solo women travellers from the Delhi-NCR region. Under the policy, the state will register and certify over 2,000 'SheStays' accommodations specifically audited for women’s safety. Around 500 trained female 'SheGuard' marshals will be deployed at major tourist spots by 2027, and 'SheShield' mobile app will also be launched.
