An interstate trafficking racket has been busted in several places, including Delhi, that was allegedly selling newborn babies for up to ₹8 lakh. At least 12 people, including the kingpin and owner of a Delhi In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) hospital in Rohini, were arrested. One baby was bought for just ₹20,000 and was reportedly sold to a couple for lakhs.
