World chess champion Gukesh D returns home, gets grand welcome at Chennai airport
World chess champion Gukesh D returned to India on Monday and was accorded a grand welcome at the Chennai airport. Scores of fans welcome Gukesh D at the Chennai airport and chanted 'Gukesh, Gukesh'. Gukesh became the youngest world chess champion at the age of 18 after defeating Ding Liren of China in World Chess Championship 2024 in Singapore.
