Chinese researchers have developed a gravity detector, which uses a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) to detect enemy patrolling nuclear submarines. The object detects minute changes in gravitational forces, minimising external factors such as seismic activity vibrations. The team behind the instrument claims it can be used for locating underground resources.
