Handwritten note in Gokul Dairy ballot box sparks row

A handwritten note found in a ballot box during Gokul Dairy election counting in Kolhapur questioned leaders over alleged religious oath-taking pressure on voters. The note read: 'Should we take oaths just to get your children elected?' The election saw 99.96% turnout and a fierce contest between Mahayuti-backed panel and Congress MLC Satej Patil's front.
